About us

InstantMarkets is an open business search engine for procurement. We aggregate government and private-sector bids, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and contract awards from thousands of sources worldwide, and make them searchable in one place — so suppliers, contractors and consultants can find the opportunities that fit them without checking fifty portals a day. We are part of Instant Systems, Inc., which builds and scales technology ventures out of its development labs in India.

The role

We have the data and we have the audience. What we need is someone to build the machine that connects the two.

This is a hands-on growth role with unusual scope for someone early in their career. You will own acquisition and lifecycle for a lead base measured in millions, and you will build most of the growth infrastructure yourself, because a lot of it does not exist yet. If you like inheriting a working playbook, this is not the role. If the sentence "there is no process for this" reads as an opportunity, keep reading.

What you'll do

  • Design and run acquisition programmes across SEO and programmatic content, email, paid, partnerships and product-led loops — favouring channels that compound.
  • Own our programmatic landing-page surface built on procurement data: how those pages are generated, indexed, ranked and converted.
  • Take charge of a multi-million-record lead base — segmentation, hygiene, deliverability, suppression, re-engagement — and move it toward activation and revenue, not opens.
  • Build the systems that are missing: attribution, lifecycle automation, lead scoring, event tracking, dashboards. Document them so anyone can run them.
  • Automate relentlessly with scripts, APIs, no-code pipelines and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Run a documented experiment cadence with real hypotheses, real success criteria, and honest reporting on what failed.

What we're looking for

  • 2–4 years in growth, growth marketing, demand generation or growth engineering — hands-on, in a startup or scale-up.
  • Domain adjacency: experience marketing to or working within public-sector-adjacent businesses (GovTech, govcon, e-procurement, tender or bid intelligence, public-sector SaaS, B2G services), or experience promoting procurement, sourcing, supply-chain or contract-management companies. You should already understand a buyer whose purchasing runs on solicitations, deadlines and compliance cycles.
  • Proven work at mass lead scale — hundreds of thousands to millions of records. You can explain how the base was sourced and segmented, how you handled deliverability and list decay, what infrastructure you used, and what the funnel actually produced.
  • A track record of building process where none existed — you found the gap, chose the tooling, implemented it, documented it, and got other people to adopt it.
  • Comfort across the growth stack: SQL, advanced spreadsheets, a marketing automation or CRM platform (HubSpot, Apollo, Customer.io or similar), product analytics (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog), and automation glue (Zapier / Make / n8n, or light Python or JavaScript).
  • Clear written English — you'll be writing copy, briefs and reports for professional buyers.

Nice to have

  • Programmatic and technical SEO on large sites.
  • Familiarity with procurement data sources and taxonomies (SAM.gov, FPDS, TED, GeM, CPPP; NAICS, UNSPSC, CPV).
  • Cold-outreach and enrichment platforms at scale (Apollo, Clay, Instantly, Smartlead) and the deliverability work behind them.
  • Python for data cleaning, deduplication and enrichment.
  • Practical use of LLMs in growth workflows.
  • Product-led growth experience — activation instrumentation, freemium-to-paid conversion.

Why join

  • Genuine ownership: you will define how growth works here, not execute someone else's plan.
  • A rare data asset and a global market with real commercial intent behind every search.
  • Direct access to leadership, short feedback loops, and the freedom to pick your own tooling.
  • The chance to build a growth function from the ground up at a stage where the work you do compounds.

Instant Systems is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate candidates on demonstrated ability, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

To apply: send your CV along with a short note on the largest lead base you have worked with and one system or process you built from scratch.
